°2 tsp kosher

°salt

°1 1/2 tsp. Ground black pepper

°1 tsp flour

°2 tsp garlic powder

°1 tsp vegetable oil

°1 large yellow onion, cut into 1/2-inch rings

°3 tablespoons butter

°1 oz Onion Soup Mix

°1 1/2 water

* Methods:

Seasoning steaks with salt & pepper. Mix the flour and garlic powder in a large shallow dish and pick up the steaks together. Reserve the remaining mixture.

In  skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Fry the steaks in batches until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer steaks to a plate.

Reduce heat to medium and add onions to skillet. Scrape the bottom of the skillet until the onions are softened and golden brown, about 10 minutes.

Melt the butter in the onions, then sprinkle with the onion soup mixture and 1 tablespoon of the reserved dredging mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until boil and start browning, another 10 minutes.

Gradually add water, one quarter of a cup at a time. Simmer until the broth thickens. Transfer the steaks to the pan with the sauce and toss to coat.

Serve the steaks with the broth.

Enjoy!
